The CSCAN-ETHERNET is AC mains powered RS232 / RS485 to Ethernet bidirectional converter designed for Industrial applications. The device provides optical isolation of 1000VDC between Input and Output. Conventional medium of communication for Industrial instruments has been serial communication. This type of communication has few limitations such as seprate cabling is required, they are susceptible to noise interference, low communication speed.CSCAN-ETHERNET solves this problem by converting these legacy ports to Ethernet port.
