Application

The RPT485DC-2 is 24VDC powered RS485 bidirectional repeater designed for Industrial applications. The device provides optical isolation of 1000VDC between Input, Output and Supply. The repeater is used to increase communication distance above 1.2Km. Repeaters are also used to boost

communication signals and get reliable communications without any communication drops, particularly when there are multiple devices in a loop. Repeaters are used for protecting RS485 port of PLC, controller etc as they provide 1000VDC isolation.
